Parents & Guardians Handbook [ English | Spanish ]
This booklet was produced for your convenience, covers all the information that the parents or guardians need to know about KEEN-LA program. Please review the Handbook carefully and observe the requirements, it will help your child and others have successful sessions at KEEN.
Enrollment Procedures
KEEN currently has a waiting list of children with special challenges who wish to join our program. To enroll your child in any KEEN program, it is important to get on the waiting list as soon as possible. We do add athletes to our program on a regular basis.
To register your child in KEEN, please print and complete the following forms:

There are two parts to the Athlete Registration form. They not only provide general information about the athlete and his/her family, but also provide important information facilitating many successful sessions.
The reasons why you should take time to complete the form:
- Aid the athlete and coach in having an enjoyable and productive session
- Foster an important connection between the coach and the athlete
- Provide important background information: activities tried which child enjoyed or
frustrate him or her
- Help the coach minimize and manage problem behaviors and deal with any medical
emergency, if it should arise
