2008 Festival Photo Gallery | 2007 Festival Photos - Part 1 | 2007 Festival Photos - Part 2KEEN LA Spring Festival & Health FairEach March, KEEN-LA hosts a Spring Festival for kids with developmental disabilities and their families. This is the only event in Southern California specially designed for disabled children. The purpose of the Festival is to reach out to as many kids with special needs as we can, with an event where everyone can play and have fun. For last three years, blessed with perfect weather, an average of 450 volunteers, kids and families turned out to enjoy the many activities. It was quite a sight as 200 kids made a mad dash to the egg hunting area and picked it clean of 1,500+ eggs in less than 5 minutes. Through the efforts of over 150 volunteers who helped plan, organize and stage the Festival, the kids enjoyed many recreational activities accompanied with lots of food and soft drinks. Like all KEEN programs, the Festival was free-of-charge for all participants and their families.
