Roxana Acevedo
Family Support & Communications Manager
Roxana is a Sociology graduate from California State University, Los Angeles with a passion for community engagement and creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Since joining KEEN Los Angeles in 2022, Roxana has grown from a Program Support role into Family Support and Communications Manager, taking on increasing leadership across program operations, communications, and family engagement.
Her background has strengthened her skills in bilingual (English/Spanish) outreach, project coordination, event planning, and data management. In July 2026, Roxana oversees family communications, participant enrollment, community outreach, newsletters, social media, and administrative tasks that help hundreds of families access free adaptive recreation programs. She enjoys finding ways to create meaningful experiences that make families in East Los Angeles feel welcomed and informed.
